Visiting Costa Rica in like a Natural Museum, a Botanical Gardens or and Ecological Amusement Park

Costa Rica an Environmental Paradise

Costa Rica an Environmental Paradise

Yes, Costa Rica is a paradise.  It is a great place to visit for history, art, food, beaches, beauty of both men, women and children and Nature.

It is a vacation spot and a Life spot.  There are animals galore, Volcanoes, rain forests, cloud forests (Bet you never heard of that before), the Pacific and the Caribbean and prices are generally fair and moderate.

It is safe and easy to get around in.  The people are friendly, but you always need to be careful – even in a place like Orlando.

We love Costa Rica as an example of a neighbor that cares about their yard, so to speak.  They live by example and they make us want to be better.  They have huge natural advantages and a small geographical footprint so things are easy to see over the course of a few days.  Obviously we have great places to travel to and see/experience in the United States too.  My European friends always talk about Americans not having passports and not traveling, bu they don’t get it.

We can go from the swampy Everglades, to the Shenandoah’s, to the White Mountains and shores of Maine, then the prairies, deserts, Washington Rain Forests, Santa Barbara, and back to Texas for a wide variety.  We can even go to Alaska or Hawaii, but it will cost a pretty penny or Puerto Rico in the Carri bean.  Therefore, people in the US haveing Yellowstone and South Beach find it difficult to rationalize leaving to see something elsewhere.

But Costa Rica is a short trip and easy on so many levels.  It is a great place for children, teens, young adults, backpackers, surfers, partiers, environmental stewards who love the environment and the earth in general.  This is a great place to launch an appreciation for the environment when what we see every day becomes that thing we are accustomed to, and therefore overlooked.

Enjoy nature, educate yourself, learn about the environment and environmental issues, enjoy animals.  Give it a try and travel there and you wont be disappointed!
